Update Instructions for iPM 100/200 Generators

Purpose:
This update can resolve the following generator errors:

  • E17 – Self-Test Failure/Internal Failure

  • E151 – Low Input Voltage/Internal Failure

These issues are often software-related, but in some cases may be due to internal hardware faults.

What You’ll Need

  1. Vetaphone FW Updater – Step-by-step update guide

  2. PU update iPM100/200 – Generator update file

  3. VST_2_V2.0.5.zip – Firmware updater tool

Steps to Update

  1. Download all required files.

  2. Unzip the VST_2_V2.0.5.zip file and install the firmware updater tool.

  3. Follow the instructions in the Vetaphone FW Updater guide to:

    • Run the updater tool.

    • Upload the PU update file to your generator.

  4. Check if the update is successful.

    • If successful: The E17/E151 errors should disappear.

    • If not successful: The generator likely has an internal hardware fault and will need replacement.
