1. Error Overview
Definition: The safety interlock loop is broken. The generator cannot start because a safety circuit (such as a door, emergency stop, or external sensor) is reporting an "open" state.
2. Symptom Checklist
- The system is unable to start and displays the E11 or E12 error code on the display and external controller.
3. Potential Root Causes
Open Safety Guards: A station door or access panel is not fully closed.
External Interlocks: An emergency stop (E-Stop) or a signal from a connected machine (e.g., the press or extruder) is active.
Wiring Fault: A loose wire or broken connection at the terminal blocks.
Terminal Points: The interlock circuit on X3 (pins 1 & 2) or X5 (pins 27 & 28) is interrupted.
4. Step-by-Step Resolution
- Physical Inspection: Ensure all station doors, safety guards, and E-Stops are closed/reset.
- Schematic Review: Consult the unit’s electrical schematics to identify every device wired into the interlock loop.
- Jumper Test (Diagnostic): Temporarily remove external wiring from X3: 1 & 2 (or X5: 27 & 28) and install a bridge/jumper wire across the pins.
- Trace the Loop: If the jumper clears the error, use a multimeter to trace the external circuit to find the specific broken contact or failed sensor.
